Message: I am a descendant of Jacob Stouffer who donated the property for the Paradise Church. His home was located on the hill across from the church. Stouffers still live on the propery. Wm Robertson came from VA and brought his slave. At that time you could bring slaves into PA but couldn't sell/trade. Wm's daughter, Nancy, was a teacher at the Mudd School. Robertson wed Walker > wed Stouffer. Theodore Stouffer, my great-grandfather, wed Ada Ritenour, daughter of David Ritenour from Melcroft.
